2022 Mentoring Day at Acrisure Stadium

Mentoring programs, supporters, mentors and mentees converged on the North Shore on Sunday, August 28th to celebrate Mentoring Day at Acrisure Stadium. It was definitely a day to remember! Through the generous support of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Steelers season ticket holders, TMP hosted more than 850 mentoring champions and supporters, many of whom enjoyed their very first Steeler game. The weather wasn’t the only thing that was hot that day – the Steelers beat the Detroit Lions 19-9!

“Thank you again so much for this experience! Many of our kids would not have been able to receive these tickets. We were able to take 28 kids with their mentors and chaperones,” said one program attendee.

Co-founded by Dan Rooney and George Miles back in 1995, TMP is dedicated to ensuring that all young people in our region have access to caring adult mentors who can help them dream big and thrive. We build on our co-founders’ legacy each and every day through our work with hundreds of local programs offering high-quality mentoring to young people in our region. This event was a great way to get a lot of mentoring champions together to celebrate and cheer on our Black and Gold!
