October 2024 LENS: A Collaborative Approach to Supporting Student Success

This LENS meeting will help adults understand trends in and identify youth substance use (including nicotine, cannabis, and alcohol), and provide them with a toolbox for having meaningful, productive conversations with youth for both prevention and interventions. In addition, it will provide resources and tools for supporting a young person who is affected by substance use in their family or in their community.
Our conversation will include:

- Current Trends in Youth Substance Use
- Prevention and Early Intervention Strategies
- Adolescent Brain Development and Its Role in Substance Use and Behavioral Health
- Supporting Youth Impacted by Substance Use
