Whatever your role in caring for young people, we know that it can be both rewarding and tiring! That’s why it’s important to remember to take care of ourselves all the time and not just when things get stressful. 

One great way to make sure we are tending to our own mental and physical well-being is by practicing self-care regularly. Check out these ideas to get started:

  • Keep a gratitude journal
  • Eat a balanced diet
  • Plan your week ahead of time
  • Sleep when you need it (don't shy away from the occasional nap!)
  • Exercise regularly
