Prioritizing Self-Care During the Holiday Season

Although we are in the midst of the exciting holiday season, this time of year can also bring with it busier schedules, more obligations, cold weather and shorter daylight hours – which can lead to additional stress and anxiety. To help keep those feelings at bay, it’s important for children and adults to prioritize self-care during this time of the year. 

One easy way to make sure those you love are taking care of themselves is by doing a check-in.  A simple “how are you doing this holiday season?” or “what do you like to do when it’s too cold to go outside?” can go a long way. Use this as an opportunity to think through and share some of your own self-care tips.
