Helping Youth Achieve Stable Confidence
Achieving successful outcomes helps build young people’s confidence. This statement seems so logical that it must be true, right? The fact is that we cannot win every game, nail every presentation, get the top score on every test. While successful outcomes are important milestones, true victory lies in a consistently positive attitude—or stable confidence--that has no dependence on specific outcomes. In life, we can’t always control the outcomes, but we can control our attitude and effort.

His message to players is that they must accept fear going forward, accept negative results, but trust that a positive attitude and effort will ultimately pay off.
