As caring adults, we can make intentional space to engage in meaningful conversations with our young people about race and diversity. There are a lot of ways to foster discussions about embracing diversity. Approaching these topics in age-appropriate and creative ways will encourage youth to engage in the conversation. 

EmbraceRace.org recently launched an exciting art program called Drawing Differences. This initiative aims to address the underrepresentation of diverse characters in children's drawings. The program includes free videos, lessons and affirmations that can be shared with kids of all ages.
