Encouraging Opportunities to Serve Others

Next Monday is MLK Day, the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. This “day on, not a day off” is perfect for setting aside time to help others.  How can you encourage the young people in your life to get involved?  Help them search for local volunteer opportunities that align with a cause that’s important to them.  Got an animal lover on your hands?  See if your local shelter is looking for dog walkers.
