Encouraging Kindness
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” - Leo Buscaglia
Extending kindness to others can be a small gesture with big impacts! As adults working with young people, we are responsible for setting the tone in our homes, classrooms and workplaces. When we practice kindness and create opportunities for youth to practice kindness, we help build confidence, resiliency, leadership skills and stronger relationships.
