Amplify LGBTQ+ Pride

June is Pride Month and, while bringing more awareness during this month is important, it’s also important to amplify LGBTQ+ pride all year long.  As caring adults, there are many ways to offer support to the young people in your lives:

• Take action: amplify LGBTQ+ pride by advocating for inclusive legislation. 
• Model inclusion: include your pronouns when introducing yourself to others.
• Speak up: say something when you hear anti-LGBTQ comments. 
• Listen: show interest in hearing about youth’s experiences. 
• Stay informed: take time to educate yourself about the LGBTQ+ community.
