Everyday Mentoring Tips

Literacy is a powerful tool for belonging and understanding. When children see themselves and others reflected in the pages of a book, they gain confidence, expand their worldview, and feel a greater sense of connection.

Summer often leaves kids with lots of unstructured time. This is a great opportunity to encourage play and learning! 

Support responses can be a great way to encourage young people (or adults!) to open up and share more during conversations.
