MENTOR,
our national office, is widely acknowledged as the nation's premier
advocate and resource for the expansion of mentoring initiatives nationwide.
As such, MENTOR works with a strong network of State and Local Mentoring
Partnerships to leverage resources and provide the support and tools
that mentoring organizations need to effectively serve young people
in their communities. Mentor Minute ~ Communiqué is a monthly communiqué provided as a service to more than 160 of our partners and programs. Distributed electronically, this communiqué was developed to enable our staff to provide up-to-date information about the state of mentoring locally, reminders of upcoming events, and ongoing professional development opportunities. MENTORING Matters Newsletter – as service to our member agencies, community partners and donors we produce a quarterly newsletter that provides myriad of information about mentoring locally and nationally. Training Guide (Registration Required) – as a
service to our new and existing member agencies, the Mentoring Partnership
of Southwestern PA provides training for hundreds of mentors and mentees
each year. In support of that we have designed a Mentor Guide for use
as curriculum during trainings, and later as a reference guide for the
program, and its mentors and mentees. |
