TMP Program Spotlight: The Honors Program at Point Park University

Published

The Honors Program at Point Park University is a place for students from diverse backgrounds to gain experience in the world of academics, leadership, and service learning. From the day freshmen arrive on campus, they are welcomed into the program with an upperclassman mentor and a week of events to acquaint them with the program, university, and city as a whole.

Students in the Honors Program have the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C., New York City, and abroad each year with the assistance of the Fallon Travel Fund. Past international trips have included Italy, Ireland, Iceland, and the United Kingdom.

Each year, students have the opportunity to present their academic work at the Northeast Regional Honors Conference (NRHC) and the National Collegiate Honors Conference (NCHC). Not only is it a learning experience and fun, but it's a great resume builder!
