TMP Program Spotlight: African American Achievement Trust Collective Focus

Published

The African American Achievement Trust Collective Focus (AAAT CF) is an Urban League program that promotes education equity among students in Pittsburgh Public Schools through mentoring. The primary goals are for students to graduate on time; to formally plan for post-secondary life; and to excel academically, emotionally and socially.

The program operates in two Pittsburgh Public Schools: Westinghouse and University Preparatory at Margaret Milliones. During the academic year, the program operates weekly from October through May during school hours. In the summer, they offer an assortment of community group activities so that students and mentors stay engaged. They serve students from grades six through twelve.
