May LENS: Risk Management and Mentoring

May LENS Meeting: Risk Management & Mentoring
Wednesday, May 6th
10-11:30 a.m.
Do you have a written plan regarding how your program responds to risk associated with running a mentoring program? Some potential risks include, but aren't limited to:  Mentor Screening, Appropriate Physical Contact, Substance Use, Photo and Image Use...A PANDEMIC.
Following Best Practices helps to minimize the opportunity for such risk, but it's essential to have a written plan for the "What could go wrong?" by developing a plan for how to prevent it.    If your mentoring program doesn't have a Risk Management Plan or you are looking to refine your plan, especially given the concerns of COVID-19, then please join to discuss this important topic!
This session will be led by Todd Whiteman, Vice President of Enscoe Long Insurance Group.  Todd has  22 years of experience in Insurance and Risk Management  He provides programming and consulting to nonprofit organizations across Pennsylvania.
This session will take place via webinar.  Register here and we'll email you the webinar link prior to the meeting!
