Do you have a written plan regarding how your program responds to risk associated with running a mentoring program? Some potential risks include, but aren't limited to: Mentor Screening, Appropriate Physical Contact, Substance Use, Photo and Image Use...A PANDEMIC.
Following Best Practices helps to minimize the opportunity for such risk, but it's essential to have a written plan for the "What could go wrong?" by developing a plan for how to prevent it. If your mentoring program doesn't have a Risk Management Plan or you are looking to refine your plan, especially given the concerns of COVID-19, then please join to discuss this important topic!
