April 2024 LENS Meeting:  Financial Aid Literacy
Wednesday, April 17, 2024
9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Calling all mentoring programs - our April LENS Meeting is a great opportunity to gather critical info for your young people and families!

Due to recent legislation, FAFSA Simplification has led to a significant overhaul of the processes and systems used to award student aid.  Please join Amy Sawdey, PHEAA's Higher Education Access Partner, as she shares more about these recent changes and how to guide students through the application process.  The workshop will give a general understanding of the financial aid process and examine the available financial aid programs that make higher education more affordable for families.  The state programs we will examine include the PA Targeted Industry Program, PA Fostering Independence Tuition Waiver Program, PA Partnerships for Access to Higher Education Program, and the PA State Work-Study Program.

Register today to join and learn how you can get involved with a few of these programs and get answers to some of those commonly asked financial aid questions!

This session will take place via Zoom.  Space is limited.  You must be registered to attend.  The registration link will be emailed a few days prior to the session.  Registration will close 2 days prior to the scheduled session.
