Be A Middle School Mentor (BAMSM)

New Mentor

Be a Middle School Mentor (BAMSM) is a school-based mentoring program that matches caring, adult volunteers with middle school students to learn about real careers and jobs, to develop big dreams for their future, to understand the importance of doing well in school, and to have a positive adult role model.

The BAMSM training will provide participants with an introduction to mentoring and give insight on what to expect as a mentor with the program. This training is appropriate to introduce new volunteers to the field of mentoring and to refresh current mentors on best practices.

For more information on the program, please visit https://uwswpa.org/be-a-middle-school-mentor/. To sign up to become a BAMSM volunteer, please complete a mentor application.
