The Importance of Everyday Mentoring

Lets do This

Mentoring is an important part of how we support young people and set them up for success, but not all young people have access to formal mentoring. That's where Everyday Mentoring comes in. Everyday Mentoring recognizes that adults everywhere can make a mentoring difference for youth in their daily lives. Parents, teachers, youth sports coaches, librarians, crossing guards -- anyone who interacts regularly with young people can use Everyday Mentoring to help youth feel known, recognized, cared for and supported.

TMP created the Everyday Mentoring movement to bring mentoring to more young people and surround them with caring, mentor-like adults in all aspects of their lives. We continue to do this work with the tremendous help of caring adults in the community -- people like you! We appreciate all that you do to support youth in our communities. Thank you!

Stay Inspired

We cannot do our work without you! TMP is taking on a new project exploring how we can better equip young people to cultivate and initiate mentoring relationships. Help us continue to reimagine the future of mentoring and learning by making your voice heard.  Participate in one of our virtual focus groups -- visit our website to learn more and register!
