Homeschooling While Social Distancing

Lets do This

With schools across the country closed, many people worry that their youth will fall behind.  There’s been a flood of parents and educators sharing homeschooling tips and strategies to accompany schools’ virtual lessons. While you’re figuring out what works for you and the young people you're supporting, remember: it doesn’t have to be perfect!

Things are stressful right now for both adults and young people, and it all might feel a little overwhelming. Don’t feel pressured to get it all right and perfectly recreate a school-like environment. Take it easy on yourself and the young person, lean into what you both find interesting and exciting and know that it’s okay to do a little more reading or cooking and a little less math.

Stay Inspired
