Training for Mentees
Mentoring is a two-way relationship -- both mentors and mentees play a crucial role in the success of the match.
Making the Most of Mentoring
Help your youth get the help they need!
Every day, youth are surrounded by adults, but rarely know how to leverage these relationships to their advantage. Getting the most out of even the closest mentoring relationships can sometimes be a challenge.
Help the youth in your program find the adult guidance they need with TMP’s latest youth- oriented training: Making the Most of Mentoring. TMP has developed this training so that youth can identify the helpful adults in their lives and learn how to actually ASK them for help!
This interactive, hour-long training is appropriate for youth in grades 6-12 and is free of charge. If you are interested in learning more about how to bring this training to your youth, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mentee training teaches mentees about mentoring, what their responsibilities will be in the mentoring relationship, and what they can expect from their mentor in return. This training is flexible depending on the program’s goals, the type of program, and the age of the mentees.
