TMP Program Spotlight: Reading is FUNdamental Pittsburgh

Reading is FUNdamental Pittsburgh provides children with the resources, motivation and opportunities to develop a lifelong love of learning. Each week, mentors in their Everybody Wins! Program take their lunch breaks at school. This lunchtime literacy program pairs 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students with a caring adult to build a meaningful relationship while reading. These consistent, one-on-one experiences increase a child’s opportunity for success, both academically and in life.
