FOR MENTORS

Preparation is very important to a mentoring relationship. To assist you with this, we offer Mentoring 101: What Every Mentor Should Know. We'll answer your questions about mentoring and help you understand what to expect as a mentor.

Ongoing training is equally important, therefore, we encourage volunteers to take advantage of the advanced training opportunities that we provide. Do you have questions about mentoring and diversity, values and their impact on the mentoring relationship? How about communication or building a positive relationship with your mentee? Or what type of cool activities can you and your mentee do together? Training sessions on these topics are offered quarterly.
